The Beginning

Well here it goes, I'm going to attempt to start a blog!I've read so many wonderful ones, love the chatter between them, and like how you can record family events in a totally creative way. My blog will hopefully be like a diary, a very public diary mind you, with photos of anything and everything. I have three wonderful children, two girls and one boy, aged 12, 10, and 6. Who, like most families, are busy with each of their activities. I love to knit and sew, but am not very speedy at either. Baking and cooking are other passions, so you may see some of our family favourites posted.

I'm an Ontario native who now lives in British Columbia. Last weekend a friend who I've known since Grade 7, that lives on Vancouver Island, came to visit...totally a "chick" weekend! (we try to get together as often as we can)
With cameras in tote, we headed for Vancouver. Visited Granville Island, did some shopping, checked out Lululemon and ate some sushi. Fun!!
