Remembrance Day 2010

This year Ben joined Air Cadets, and this year he marched in the Remembrance Day Ceremony. We were all there to watch and pay tribute to our veterans.

Ben has learned a lot since he started Cadets this fall, but I think the most challenging so far is learning how to tie his tie! (i think he's got the hang of it)

We are proud of you Ben and we remember.

A Bit of Knitting

While in Ontario last month, I spent some time knitting with my mom. She was knitting socks for everyone, and I was finishing up these. The top picture is Toast. Super easy to knit up, and great to wear.

This grey pair is Dashing. Love the cables. I made them a bit longer than what the pattern called for. Another great wear.

Hello November

How did that happen? It's November already! How was your Hallowe'en? We had a Vampire, Jack the Ripper, and a Crazy Canuck leave our house and then have them all return with with loads of candy. Oh the joys of Hallowe'en candy...
